Upfront Café Autumn Season 2010

Upfront Café is back at The Drum for another season of side splitting entertainment.

The season kicks off on Fri 3 Sep, with the cool, charming and conscious Mr Cee, presenting his first solo show, Snigger Please. This promises to be a lively night giving us a glimpse into his very distinctive world, showcasing his comical point of view that will cover a mixture of all your favourite Mr Cee 'classics' plus loads of new jokes.

Fri 8 Oct sees comedy don Curtis Walker, return to The Drum stage and this year he has lots on his mind! The man who “moved the room in a way I’ve never seen a stand up do before” (The Guardian) is joined by new-to-The-Drum talents including the young and exciting Travis J (son of Black comedy royalty). Hosting the evening is comedian turned Teletubbie John Simmit.

Ending the season with a bang, Richard Blackwood brings his raunchy comedy to bear on Fri 5 Nov, alongside the Upfront newcomers Nabil Abdulrashid, with his edgy Muslim wit, and Dominique ‘Variety D’ Davis with her own contrasting style. Hosted by local boy making good John Simmit.
