Artistic Souls and The Drum presents:

Somewhere I Belong The Godfather Souls’ House

As part of the UnionBlack season, Birmingham’s underground Spoken Word collective, The Artistic Souls have teamed up with The Drum to present this brand new production, Somewhere I Belong, Wed 12 Nov, 7.30pm. Set in a Big Brother style house, Somewhere I Belong explores notions of home, individuality and belonging.

The night will showcase artists from the Artistic Souls collaborative. The artists will endeavour to weave through the different categories of life which we as human beings strive to adhere to through the powerful expression of spoken word and theatre.

With two years under their belt, Artistic Souls have been spreading their premise to Birmingham by delving into the world of culture, identity and who we are through the medium of hip hop, grime and physical expression.

In true Artistic Souls style, Soul and Smash will be hosting a spoken word open mic session before the show, so get there early to book your slot.
