Ragarella & The Dee Jay Don is a unique family show based on the classic fairy tale Cinderella. But this is not your regular run of the mill panto – OH NO IT ISN’T! Ragarella & The Dee Jay Don is told in a dance hall style and has music and gags which will make you want to ‘skip to ma lou’ down the aisles!
Ragarella (Charlene Tyrell) has two ugly sisters – ’The Single Ladies’ (Charles Tomlin & Devon Morgan) and her wicked stepmother (Lovena Brown). It’s the day they’ve all been waiting for. Dee Jay Don – the most eligible batchelor, is holding a bashment where he is going to be seeking a girl to be his bride amongst all the hot single ladies. However, Ragarella’s step mother and the two ugly sisters agree Ragarella is far too ugly to be seen at Dee Jay Don’s bashment. So, unfortunately for Ragarella, she has to stay at home. But then, up pops the magical Beenie Genie (Ping Wing) who uses his genie magic and so Ragarella gets to go to the bashment after all.
As the old saying goes, “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true”. Will all go to plan for Ragarella at DJ Don’s bashment? How can a bunch of green bananas, two ripe plantains and a piece of yellow yam help her? Will the glitter boot fit Ragarella’s foot?
Don’t miss this hilarious ragga pantomime with fun, laughter, music and dance throughout, plus the latest dance moves to rival Britain’s Got Talent.
Get into the spirit of Christmas with Ragarella & The Dee Jay Don you’d be mad to miss it!
