WE NEED YOUR HOMEMOVIES!
THE DRUM JOINS FULL CIRCLE’S FILM SEARCH.
Do you live in Ladywood and have any moving image materials, such as film, tape or videos hidden away in the attic? The Media Archive for Central England (MACE) in partnership with The Drum are looking to unearth your community video’s, with the possibility it may be included in our spring film screening 2012. In addition, if it has a connection to the Midlands, then it may very well be worth collecting as part of the Full Circle archive.
A Full Circle introductory screening of Midlands related archive footage is being held at The Drum on Wed 12 Oct, 7pm together with a screening of The Colony (1964). The screening will include examples of the type of film footage that has already been donated to MACE and explain the importance of preserving these previously unseen gems.
Full Circle is a 3 year Heritage Lottery Funded project run by MACE, The Media Archive for Central England.
If you feel that you may have some old reels of film, tape or home videos that may be of interest to Full Circle’s search, that relate to the heritage of the Midlands, please get in touch with: Tony Spencer, Arts Development Manager at The Drum:
