Café Masti swings into Spring with Britain’s only female Iranian stand-up comedienne Shappi Khorsandi in her outstanding one-woman show. Feisty, flirty and effortlessly funny Shappi has earned a well deserved place amongst the comedy elite.

Her razor sharp wit, endless charm and deliciously dizzy delivery got Shappi noticed by bosses at Paramount Comedy. The result was her own 30-minute comedy special. She also participated in Comic Relief’s Stand Up with the Stars by mentoring Radio 4 presenter Laurie Taylor.

With an increasing number of TV and radio appearances including Question Time, Mock The Week, The Sunday Edition & Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour Shappi still finds time for her first love which is stand-up. She is currently touring her latest show An Evening with Shappi Khorsandi – which is being hailed as a remarkable evening jam packed with great gags and a fascinating story.
