BBC Radio 4 Any Questions?
The Drum hosts:
BBC
with Jonathan Dimbleby
The Drum hosts BBC Any Questions? on Fri 14 Dec at 7.30pm. Any Questions? is the programme that gives YOU the chance to influence national debate on topical issues by putting a question directly to a panel of four leading public figures. The show is broadcast live every Friday after the 8pm News on
The shows chairman is currently Jonathan Dimbleby who is joined each week by the high-profile panel members; they are not notified of the questions before the programme, although questions usually cover topical political questions. Any Questions? inspired the television version, Question Time, chaired by Jonathan Dimbleby’s older brother, David Dimbleby.
Our panellists on Friday are LIAM BYRNE, Home Office Minister (Minister for Borders and Immigration, West Midlands), SHAILESH VARA, Shadow Deputy Leader of the House of Commons, SALMA YAQOOB, Birmingham City Councillor for Respect and DOUGLAS MURRAY, Director, The Centre for Social Cohesion.
Which issues in, or behind, the headlines would you like to hear discussed? Your question may have national or international significance, or touch on social, economic or moral issues. The unexpected question keeps the panellists on their toes – so witty and humorous questions are always welcome as well.
The audience and its questions are a crucial part of the broadcast and we look forward to seeing you. There are limited tickets available – e-mail h.liddle@the-drum.org.uk – Tel: 0121 333 2409. You should arrive between 6.45pm and 7.15pm. As you are attending a live broadcast, your voice may be heard on the radio and you may be included in any official photographs taken at the programme.
