Lozells and Washwood Heath Youth Inclusion Project in partnership with Salaam Institute, Scholars and Warriors and The Drum Through Our Own eyes
There's a street in every city where, if you live there long enough, you're sure to see your own front door on the news. But it's just a story. For hundreds of young people that street is where they make every decision that shapes their future. Through my eyes is an urban photography experiment, giving twenty young people from Lozells and Washwood Heath the chance to explore truth and fiction around identity and stereotyping through their eyes.
The exhibition is fresh in its conception, execution and all the images are brought to you by young people who attend Lozells and Washwood Heath YIP’s delivered in partnership with Salaam Institute, Scholars and Warriors and The Drum.
Lozells and Washwood Heath Youth Inclusion Projects work with young people who are at risk of offending, criminality and anti social behaviour.
