The Nubian Readers’ Book Club continues to meet at The Drum on the last Friday of each month to discuss books written by African, Caribbean, Black British and African American authors. It’s a popular forum for literature enthusiasts and a one of its kind in promoting and discussing Black literature. The group has had a steady increase in the take up of male readers. Suitable for ages 16+

**The next book we will be reading is Born to Score by Dwight Yorke. As mentioned previously our next meeting scheduled for Friday 24th February, is the same night and time as Alex Wheatle performance of Uprising at The Drum. Members of the group present at our last meeting decided we would go and see Uprising and after the performance, depending on the finish time have a short Nubian meeting. The performance costs £8(6).**
