Offered as a special premiere at Jamaica's first annual weeklong Reggae Film Festival in 2008, The African Safari is arguably the first historical documentary that aims to launch a new organisation with a forward looking agenda.

Never before has a film examined the experience of the African race as a whole; highlighting that; regardless of where those of African decent choose to live, they are inextricably linked by their common history and heritage.

Proceeds from this screening will go towards the purchase of a tractor for Mila na Utamaduni, a constituted NGO of several young families who have purchased farm land in Tanzania to grow maize.
