The West Midlands Rwanda Community Association and The Drum present Rwanda: past, present, future
This touching exhibition explores Rwanda from prehistoric times, to the genocidal war in 1994, focusing on Rwanda’s situation today through photography and film. Bringing Rwandese history to life, setting the colonial contexts that led to the extermination of more than a million Tutsis and moderate Hutus killed in 100 days of horror. The exhibition also focuses on the need to ensure the voices of survivors in the UK and worldwide are heard.
