The latest book by Gary Younge 'Who Are We - and Should It Matter in the 21st Century?' explores identity, solidarity and our affiliations in changing times. This specially commissioned talk explores these themes followed by an open discussion.
Gary Younge is an award-winning journalist and writer based in New York. As a columnist for the Guardian in 2009 he won the prestigious James Cameron award for his coverage of the Obama election and the "combined moral vision and professional integrity" of his work. His previous books include Stranger in a Strange Land, a compilation of his writings from the US and No Place Like Home, in which he retraced the route of the civil rights Freedom Riders through the Deep South.
