An oral history documenting the stories of Mixed Heritage families in Birmingham during the 1950’s and 1960’s. Mixed Heritage people have been an obvious presence in the UK for the past 50 years yet relatively little is known about their unique cultural experience. Given a separate ethnic category for the first time in the 2001 National Census, Mixed Heritage is now the fastest growing ethnic group in the UK. Through photographic exhibition and oral testimonials ‘Guess who is coming to Dinner’ brings together two generations of Birmingham families to tell their stories.
