One of the most radical, prolific and leading names of Black British literature, Linton Kwesi Johnson created a new form of poetry, dub poetry, revolutionary in terms of language, content and style, he is still the foremost and most uncompromising practitioner of the art of dub poertry. Using the patois of Jamaican speech, LKJ articulates the Black British experience and uses the rhythms of reggae to get his message across.
