Griotology is a monthly spoken word event hosted by The Drum’s resident poet Kokumo from the New October Poets. Tonight’s featured guest from Liverpool is dub poet and urban griot Levi Tafari.

Levi is a highly popular performer whose work is informed by the rhythms of reggae and its musical foundation. His published works include a book entitled Dubpoetry and his recordings include CDs with The Ministry of Love & Urban Strawberry Lunch.
