To some it’s just a game, to others the game is everything. Who will be the last one standing?

In their second artistic collaboration, Seeta Patel and Kamala Devam present a rework of the piece created from the Kadam Choreographic Award 2008. This multi-media piece features film by the film maker Maria Akesson. Last One Standing is a sensitive and humorous interpretation of game playing explored through contemporary South Asian dance.

Birmingham favourite Aakash Odedra is rapidly becoming one of the UK’s most sought after dancers. Tonight alongside Shivani Satya he will present both traditional and contemporary Kathak, in three new pieces, specially developed for this double-bill.
