Creative Circle Phase 2

This arts development training course aims to support artists from BME Communities within the West Midlands; to develop their business skills in order for them to become self employed within the creative industries sector. The course will cover topics ranging from business planning, selling your product or service to personal development and getting your work commissioned.

Creative Circle Phase 2 will be based in the evening with classes taking place over a period of 12 weeks. The course will be delivered in the form of lectures (including a range of visiting practitioners from the arts and cultural sector), seminars (case studies, individual & group presentation), with an exciting Dragon's Den Assesment at the end where you will be able to pick excellent tips for further development from experts in your area of expertise.

Assessments will include assignments, group and individual presentations and project work. All learners will also have the opportunity to have one-to-one personal development sessions with course tutors.

On successful completion of the course each artist will receive a bursary of £150 to support their start-up business. If you're ready to take the next step forward in your creative career then this is the course for you!
