Theatre and dance practitioners drawn from South Africa and the UK come together for an international seminar, exploring creative tensions and intersections between multicultural Britain and “the new South Africa”. This unique colloquium will encourage UK artists to forge new synaptic links with our Afro Vibes visitors, exploring what their own practice might mean in a global, postcolonial context.

Speakers: Gregory Maqoma (Artistic Director, Afro Vibes Festival), Mandla (actor in Welcome to Rocksburg, long-time Paul Grootboom collaborator), Sâmir Bhamra (Artistic Director, Phizzical Theatre Company), Pervaiz Khan (International Broker, Sustained Theatre) and Shaun Cope (Drum Board Member), Mukhtar Dar (Artistic Director, The Drum).
