The Afghan Accountant was public school educated in South East London and had some "misunderstandings" which caused him to be banned from some south coast resorts. Originally a farm boy, now trying to break into banking, this Marty Feldman look-alike recounts a life story so hilarious it has to be heard to be believed. Find out the difference between Pakistanis and Afghans, and how as a member of the UK airborne forces he received a special Royal send off.

Anil Desai made his name as an impressionist and made the leap into stand-up in 2005. His set involves Desai giving a deck of cards (with a famous name on each one) to the audience, asking them to choose a couple of cards and then challenging them to create a scenario for him to act out. At this point the magic happens with Desai improvising a situation in which the characters interact, with side-splitting results.

Imran Yusuf is renowned for his stinging, lyrical street-slang verbiage and super-high energy performance. Fast and furious yet charmingly endearing, this is a very unique voice that has never been heard before. Born in Mombasa, Kenya and raised in the UK, Imran seamlessly switches between styles with graceful fluidity, delivering heavy-weight punch lines repeatedly with enormous panache.

“One of the best acts I’ve seen at this year’s Fringe” " Three Weeks, 2009
