A deeply moving and intimate film from the director of the international award winning ‘Khuda Ke Liye’. Based in Lahore, the story takes place in a house full of daughters who should be taking their first steps towards womanhood but instead find themselves restricted at each turn. As well as having to contend with poverty they must all without question subscribe to a set of ideals held and enforced by their father. This fascinating film questions the value of human life, and the irresponsible nature of those who create life only to control their existence.
