Showcased at the 68th Venice Film Festival Anhey Ghorhey Da Daan is a powerful exploration of the daily struggles of the urban and rural workers in a Punjab, where the gap between the rich and poor is getting wider and people’s hopes and aspirations for a better life are shattered. Focusing
on the lives of a rickshaw puller and his family and the various
injustices they experience in fighting for their rights alongside
their colleagues and local community.
