US soul sensation, Angie Stone comes to Birmingham as part of the Drum’s 10th anniversary celebrations.

Angie Stone is a singer, a self-taught keyboardist, a prolific songwriter and an occasional actor. Angie Stone's first claim to fame was being the lead vocalist on Vertical Hold's smooth urban dance track ‘Seems You're Much Too Busy’. An R&B Top 40 hit during the summer of 1993, it eventually led to a solo career, and her debut Gold selling album Black Diamond was issued in 1999 by Arista.

In six years, Angie Stone had gained an old-school, autobiographical vibe and cemented her place in the top echelon of soul sisters. With a new album on the way this is your chance to see the soul diva live and direct at the Drum’s 10th anniversary party.

Event Venue: O2 Academy Birmingham, 16-18 Horsefair, Bristol Street, Birmingham B1 1DB. Please see link for location; http://www.o2academybirmingham.co.uk/Info
