Combining education and entertainment this community event will raise funds for the people affected by the tragic Haiti earthquake.

2pm - 5pm will be The Truth about Haiti, a lecture and discussion hosted by Professor Robert Beckford, giving you the chance to learn about Hait's unique history - past, present and future.

6pm - 9pm will be the Action for Haiti Concert, consisting of live and energetic performances from local & national artists comprising of music, poetry, dance and more. Hosted by Newstyle Radio's G-Man and DJ Jayson Wynters.

We will be collecting shoes, clothes, sleeping bags, candles and school supplies on the day so bring your donations.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to two charities currently supporting the Haitian disaster victims; UNITED HAITIANS IN THE UK www.uhuk.org and FOUNDATION MARIE CLAIRE HEUREUSE FELICITE BONHEUR DESSALINES.
