“Join original pioneers of Grime Theatre, the Decypher Collective, for a breathtaking, tongue‐twisting tale of life and lyrics where four MCs clash with their biggest competitor yet…”

Based on real‐life experiences, this powerful local production follows four Birmingham‐based Grime MCs as they battle to make it big in the music industry.
Fusing comedy, stylised movement and a tailor‐made score of beats, rhythms and melodies 8SIXTEEN32 highlights the clash between youth culture and advertising manipulation to create a lively and urgent piece of theatre. The production takes its name from the number of beats in a bar that grime MCs use to count and rap to.

Written and performed by the Decypher Collective.

Please note that this event has an age restriction of 12+
