Young Gifted Brum B-Boys ‘n’ B-Girls!

DanceXchange is the new Official Partner of the Sony Xperia B-Boy Championships World Finals and is proud to bring to Birmingham one of the most eagerly anticipated competitions in the international hip-hop calendar.  This is an event with huge global appeal and a real connection to today’s youth culture, and is being held in Birmingham for the first time in its 18 year history.

To mark the launch of this very special event in the city, DanceXchange are hosting the opening reception at The Patrick Centre, Birmingham Hippodrome, 6pm until 8pm on Fri 20 Sep, 2013.

Crazy Legs of the legendary Rock Steady Crew NYC, will be working with DanceNuvo and The Drum’s Young Gifted Brum (YGB) group on their already existing dance material to create a piece to be performed at the B-Boy Championships Launch Event. Both groups have been specifically chosen to participate in the Crazy Legs workshops and performance to represent Birmingham and the West Midlands urban dance community.

This is an amazing opportunity for The Drum’s young gifted dancers, shouts out to their tutors, N9NE and Ronx for getting them to this level. It won’t be long before these young people will be competing in the championships themselves.
